How to turn social messages and phone inquiries into online bookings

By AACore Team

Many service businesses first meet a customer through a referral, social message, or phone call. The conversation is valuable, but arranging every appointment through back-and-forth messages can leave important details scattered. A public booking link gives customers a consistent place to see your services and take the next step. Here is how to move from an inquiry to an online booking without pretending every conversation should become a form.

Prepare the destination before sharing the link

Open your public AACore Booking business page as a new customer would. Check the business name, service descriptions, photos, hours, location, contact details, booking policy, and available services. Test at least one appointment yourself. A link is useful only if the page answers the questions customers ask before they book. The website configuration walkthrough and launch checklist can help with that review.

Use a short reply that matches the inquiry

Someone asking about a haircut needs a direct way to see the relevant services and times. Someone describing an uncertain home-service job may need a quote request instead. Keep the reply personal, then give one clear next step. For example:

“Thanks for reaching out. You can see our available services and times here: [your AACore Booking link]. If you are not sure which service fits, tell us what you need and we will help you choose.”

For work that requires an estimate, explain that the customer is requesting a quote rather than reserving an appointment. Do not say a time is confirmed until the booking actually is. The quote guide explains the distinction.

Put the booking link where customers already look

You can share your public business-page URL in appropriate profiles, messages, email signatures, and printed material, subject to each channel's rules. Describe the destination honestly, such as “View services and book” or “Request a quote.” This is link sharing, not a claim that AACore Booking has a native integration with every social network or messaging app. Keep a copy of the direct link that you and staff can paste consistently.

Keep human help for customers who need it

A customer may prefer to call, may need help choosing a service, or may have accessibility or scheduling questions. Staff can create an appointment for a phone or walk-in customer in AACore Booking and use an existing customer record when appropriate. A staff-created record does not automatically create a verified online account for the customer. The phone and walk-in guide shows the owner-side flow; the customer account guide covers self-service registration.

Check that the link leads to an actual booking

Before adding the link to every channel, run a small test. Open it on a phone without relying on your admin session. Find a service, select an appropriate professional and time when offered, review the policy, and complete the booking. Then check the business dashboard for the appointment and review the customer-facing confirmation. If the service requires a quote or an on-site address, test that path too. This reveals missing setup more reliably than a preview screenshot alone.

Measure the step you care about

A profile view or link click is not the same as a completed booking or business registration. If you are promoting your own service business, pay attention to qualified inquiries and completed customer appointments. If you are evaluating AACore Booking for your business, inspect whether the website, booking, customer record, and payment steps fit together for your work. The platform provides the destination and workflow; attracting customers still requires your own promotion and reputation.

Common questions

Does every customer have to book online?

No. The business can also manage phone and walk-in appointments. Offer online booking as a convenient option while keeping appropriate human help.

Does sharing the link automatically bring customers?

No. The link makes it easier for interested people to see services and start a booking. It does not guarantee discovery, traffic, or appointments.

What if the job needs a price first?

Use the quote request and offer path where configured, and avoid presenting the request as a confirmed time slot.
