Checklist: What to prepare before launching your booking site
By AACore Team
A good booking page gives customers enough information to make a decision without creating more work for the business. Before you share your AACore Booking link, use this checklist to confirm that the page, services, schedule, and customer messages match the way you actually work.

1. Confirm your business profile
- Use the business name customers recognize.
- Review the business email and contact options.
- Choose a short name for the public AACore Booking URL.
- Add an official website and social links only when they are current.
- Decide whether to show the contact form on the public page.
2. Select the right service location
Confirm whether customers come to your location, you travel to the customer, or you support both. This setting affects the customer experience and the information collected during booking.
Also review the business categories and subcategories. Choose the categories that accurately describe the services you are ready to provide.
3. Set honest business hours
- Select the correct time zone.
- Mark closed days clearly.
- Enter the normal operating hours for each open day.
- For a team, review each professional's individual schedule and availability.
- Account for breaks, closures, travel time, and time off where applicable.
Availability should reflect the time you can reliably serve customers, not the hours you hope to be available.
4. Prepare the services
For every service you plan to publish, confirm the name, description, duration, price or quote behavior, location, and assigned professional. Use plain language customers understand.
If the final price depends on job details, consider a quote-based service instead of presenting a fixed price that may be misleading.
5. Add practical branding
- Upload a clear business logo.
- Select readable typography.
- Choose a theme color with good contrast.
- Add up to six relevant business or service images.
- Arrange images in the order that best explains the business.
Use real, permissioned images. Do not upload customer photos or private information without the right to publish them.
6. Review payments, policies, and messages
If the business wants to accept online card payments, review the Stripe connection status. Card processing is handled through the connected Stripe setup, and AACore Booking does not store customer card numbers in the application.
Set the cancellation window and review the standard policy language. Add your own policy only when it is clear, reasonable, and consistent with how you operate. If deposits are enabled for your account and workflow, verify the amount and the customer-facing explanation.
Add a concise appointment confirmation message with information customers genuinely need, such as arrival instructions, preparation steps, or how to contact the business.
7. Preview the public page
Use Preview to review the page as a customer. Check the business information, theme, services, hours, social links, contact options, and booking button. Scan the QR code with a phone and confirm that it opens the correct public page.
8. Complete a test booking
Test the full customer journey before sharing the link widely. Select a service, review the cart, choose a professional if applicable, select a date and time, review the summary, accept the policy, and complete the test appointment. Confirm that the appointment appears in the correct dashboard and that expected email notifications arrive.
Launch when the essentials are accurate
Your page does not need to be perfect. It does need to be accurate. Start with the services and schedule you can support today, then improve the page as you learn what customers ask and where they need more clarity.
