Manage appointments from the calendar and Appointment Details
By AACore Team
The calendar is a practical starting point for a busy service day. In AACore Booking, selecting an existing calendar appointment opens its details over the schedule, so staff can review the visit in context.

Choose the view that fits the task
Open Business Dashboard > Appointments. Use Calendar View for the schedule, Grid View for appointment cards, or Table View for a compact list of customer, service, date and time, status, and duration.
Calendar controls include Today, 3 Days, and 1 Week, with date navigation. Status and professional filters narrow the results. If a visit seems missing, check those filters and the selected period before assuming the booking does not exist.
Open and review an existing appointment
- Select an appointment on the calendar to open Appointment Details. From cards, use View Details; from the table, use View.
- Check the customer and the Service Location, especially for on-site work.
- Review Schedule and Services & Charges for date, time, assigned professional, duration, and total.
- If making a permitted change, review it carefully before selecting Update. Check the saved result afterward.
See customer history without leaving the visit
Select the customer's name inside Appointment Details to open their appointment history. This helps staff review earlier and upcoming visits while answering a question about the current appointment.
Use the appointment action menu deliberately
Depending on access and appointment state, the menu offers actions such as marking a visit completed or no-show, cancelling, sending a reminder, and creating an invoice. Choose the action that matches what actually happened, then check the resulting status. Private Professional Notes are for authorized staff, not customer instructions.
Understand Appointment Settings
Appointments > Settings includes auto-confirmation, owner appointment-activity emails, showing assigned professionals, and booking slot size. Slot size is the interval offered for booking starts; it is not the duration of every service. Review the current settings before assuming every new appointment will immediately be confirmed.
The tutorial also shows the phone layout. The same underlying appointment deserves the same checks on mobile: customer, service, date, status, and location.
For phone bookings and walk-ins, see the customer records guide.
