Set business hours and closures without confusing availability

Your weekly opening hours tell customers when the business operates. A holiday or one-off break needs a separate exception. AACore Booking provides regular Business Hours in Site Configuration and a Closures area for those exceptions.

Set the regular week
- Open Business Dashboard > Site Configuration > Business Hours.
- Set the Business Timezone using the available choices.
- Under Operating Hours, enter each day's Open and Close times.
- Select Closed for days the business does not operate.
- Review the entire week, then select Save Changes.
Copy hours from the previous day
The small copy icon means Copy hours from previous day. For example, Tuesday's copy control takes Monday's hours. Check Monday first; a previous day marked Closed is not the same as a normal working day.
After copying, inspect the destination day's opening, closing, and Closed values before saving. Copy is a time-saver, not a reason to skip reviewing the weekly schedule.
Customers see the operating hours too
These settings are not just an internal calendar preference. The public website displays operating hours, including Closed days. Open the website after saving and check that its hours accurately describe the business.
Business hours support booking availability, but they are distinct from an individual professional's availability. A business being open does not guarantee that a particular professional and service have an available slot.
Add a holiday or one-off closure
Open Business Dashboard > Closures > New Closure. Set the Start Date and End Date and add a reason when useful. Use All Day for a full-day date range, or the time controls for a partial-day block. Use Repeat yearly when appropriate for an annual closure.
Review the closure, save it, and check Upcoming Closures. Closures override regular store hours and professional availability for the covered period.
What about appointments already booked?
Review affected existing appointments separately and follow any warnings the application displays. Do not assume that adding a closure automatically cancels, reschedules, notifies, or refunds every existing booking.
